The Fusion Perspective: Architecture

A Bionic company, organization, government, military, city must have an architecture. That architecture begins with the goals and objectives. The key results the organization seeks. The architecture accounts for the current operating and technology paradigm and the paradigm the organization seeks to adopt or establish. Everything else aligns to that. The value streams or mission threads define what the organization does. The cognitive capital of its employees defines what the organization "knows". The behavioral capital represents what the organization knows about its customers or stakeholders - in order to better serve them. Lastly, the network capital defines where and how the customers or employees interface with or access and experience your Bionic Enterprise.

These interactions begin with defining the user journeys and capturing the user experiences along the journeys to further examine how to improve those experiences through Bionic User Experience Design. As the organization begins to capture and explicitly represent its current or future Bionic Architecture, it will be able to begin analyzing where Bionic Technologies and Bionic Effects can be applied to gain advantage internally in operational value streams, development value streams and the customer experience. Without an explicit architecture to guide the way and set the course for evolution - there is chaos.
